How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I worked with Henson Productions as a puppeteer on "Fraggle Rock". I was amazed how much Jim Henson knew about video production, and decided to learn the other end of the camera. Moving to San Francisco, I learned video production and taught video classes as a public access coordinator for Viacom. Images In Motion was started by myself(Lee Armstrong)and my business partner Kamela Portuges. She had worked in special effect puppets (The Fly 2, James & the Giant Peach, etc.)Together we produce content for multimedia, featuring people, puppets and animation.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer high quality, full service video production. From preproduction concepts, budgets, scripts, storyboards, to production crews, studio, video equipment to final edit, clients can use any or all the services. We also build TV puppets, provide talented puppeteers and create animation.
