How long have you been in business?
We are the longest, fully-operating etiquette training business in California, since 1992.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide the most comprehensive training, coaching, and consulting services in international business protocol and social etiquette. We instruct individuals on how to improve the quality of their professional and personal life through mastering a series of simple, step-by-step guidelines and tips that will transform their life forever! We provide the missing link to a complete professional education by giving participants the self-confidence everyone deserves to live a great life!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As an American of Chinese heritage, I grew up not knowing hardly anything about professional Western etiquette. Yet could see its importance to getting ahead in life... not feeling awkward, or uncomfortable in various situations, versus a feeling of self-confidence and authority in certain situations. Thanks to finding and receiving information on The Protocol School of Washington...during a time web sites were not as available, a light bulb lit and suddenly knew this was the profession for me. I wanted to make a difference in people's lives by showing primarily at that time women and minorities how to break through glass ceilings and succeed in their professional and personal lives.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I am blessed to be uniquely positioned as a leading etiquette trainer, celebrity speaker, and founder of Advanced Etiquette worldwide. I am the first Asian-American graduate of both The Protocol School of I am Washington "and" the Emily Post Institute... The Harvard and Stanford of professional etiquette institutions. With all the diversity we now have in the workplace and world, think of etiquette training as just another course we all must take in life... such as computer courses.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our headquarters is in the San Francisco Bay Area, California USA. Since 2005, we established an affiliate office in in India and in 2009 a similar affiliation in China. We enjoy traveling the world to bring our unique style of training, private coaching, and consulting services to the world. Our plans are to continue building collaborations and partnerships with more companies around the world

We are fortunate to maintain our internal operations as a home-based business. As such all client meetings are held at either The City Club of San Francisco in the heart of the financial district in San Francisco or at the client's office. We also use Skype, Email, Video Conferencing, and even regular telephone services to communicate.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept credit cards, U.S. checks, wire transfers, and even cash, as convenient. Other forms of payment can also be arranged by mutual agreement.
Which areas do you service?
Our primary focus is in the corporate arena and in the hospitality industry. That said, we equally enjoy being of service to anyone who asks. The key is a true desire to improve the quality of their life through mastering a few simple skills in the areas of international business and social etiquette and protocol.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are a sole proprietor business with several outsourced staff to run various aspects of the business.
What are your hours of operation?
We are available for sure Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Pacific Time; with extended workweek and weekend hours by arrangement.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The best compliment is to hear how clients/participants have put into immediate action the skills taught and how it has changed their life forever!
