How long have you been in business?
I have been licensed as a psychotherapist in California since 1990. I started Park Presidio Counseling Center in 1991
What is your primary product or service?
I, along with my intern, provide psychotherapy for a range of human issues including anxiety, depression,trauma, grief, relationship issues, life transitions, marriage and parenting
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I studied psychology in undergraduate school in the 70's and spent 10 years in human services, earning a Masters Degree in Health Services before returning to graduate school in the early mid 80's to become a clinical therapist
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I have vast experience and training, but admittedly, many therapists do. My distinguishing quality is that I am very eclectic in my approach and seek to develope an authentic relationship with my clients. That means I actually talk to you and give feedback. I see people as functioning,and therefore needing to address themselves, on many levels, which includes the deeply psychological/emotional but also the practical. If a client is interested and willing, I find it useful to broaden our explorations to the spiritual and look at what is happening in the broadest sense on the soul's journey
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have just one location and do not plan to expand

What type of payments do you accept?
check, cash, Visa, Master Card, Discover. Your health insurance may reimburse you for my services but I do not directly bill insurance. I will provide a statement at the end of each month for you to submit to insurance

I do
What are your hours of operation?
Hours vary but essentially either myself or my intern are available MOnday through Friday with evening appointments available
