Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
The Revere Academy celebrated it's 33rd anniversary in April, 2012.
What is your primary product or service?
The Revere Academy is a professional jewelry school where master craftsmen pass on their skills and knowledge to students al all levels. Beginners and hobbyists as well as experienced working bench jewelers come for dozens of short intensive classes and diploma programs lasting 2-4 months.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Students can learn to make jewelry in just three days! Our classes are short and intensive, and many of them are offered in the weekend. Someone without any experience in jewelry making can take Fabrication 1 on a Friday through Sunday and learn the basic skills required to make jewelry. We now also offer a 3.5 hour Introductory Jewelry Making 101 class for those who want to try their hand at jewelry making before taking a three-day class.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are located in downtown San Francisco, near Union Square, as we have been for almost 30 years.
