How long have you been in business?
Established in 1942 in Nice, France. Opened in San Francisco in 1951 and in Marin County in 1982. Deleuse Jewelers is the oldest established jewelry store in Marin owned and operated by Jeff and Janet Deleuse.
What is your primary product or service?
Deleuse Jewelers is a fine jewelry store offering custom one-of-a-kind jewelry manufactured by us or our American Designers.
Jeff Deleuse, Graduate Gemologist, Member American Gem Trade Association, American Gem Society, and GIA Appraiser, specializes in diamonds and Insurance appraisals.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Jeff Deleuse has a B.A. in Psychology prior to joining the family business and was trained by his father, John Deleuse, who was a master watchmaker and jeweler trained in France.
Janet Deleuse has a B.S. in Science and many years of designing joined the family business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Extensive knowledge from years in the industry and education through the Gemological institute of America, American Gem Society, American Gem Trade Association, Contemporary Jewelers Design Group; all of these affiliations require strict adherence to regulations and ongoing education exams.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are located in Tiburon, CA and have expanded into an online store Deleuse Design Collective featuring American Designers.
