Swiss Louis Italian & Seafood Restaurant, located at Pier 39. A tradition in San Francisco
It started more than a half century ago in 1936 when a Swiss Italian
immigrant named Louis opened the original Swiss Louis Restaurant on Broadway in San Francisco’s North Beach area.
Over the years, as the popularity of the restaurant grew, so did the need for a larger facility. In 1978, after 42 years at the North Beach location, this popular dining establishment moved to Pier 39 near
Fisherman’s Wharf.
Today, as in the past, there is no destination quite like Swiss Louis
Italian & Seafood Restaurant. Our waterfront dining rooms, provide magnificent views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and the always entertaining Sea Lions. We offer a casual dining experience that includes delicious traditional Italian fare and fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Our service is accommodating and friendly. We are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.
