I’ve decided to close the doors at Bayshore Studio.
Dear Clients and Friends:
It’s strange to be writing this after over seventeen years at the same location, but after a lot of thought, effective immediately, I’ve decided to close the doors at Bayshore Studio.
I can’t thank all of you enough for all the support over the years. I feel proud to have been a part of the Bay Area production community for so long and am grateful for all the friendships and smiles along the way. I always joke that you either really love the people you work with in this business or you can’t F#@&in’ stand them; thanks to all of you I’ve been pretty lucky. I think I’ll miss checking out tomorrow’s call sheet to see who I’m going to get to hang out with for the day the most. Still, I think it’s going to be hardest on Rooff, once he realizes that there will be no more catered lunches…
For those of you who are interested in purchasing equipment, I’ve hired the same auction company which liquidated Kerner Optical. My auction is currently available to view at www.westauction.com and the auction will happen the week of December 12th.
All my best,
Tom, Stacey, Sarah, Jeff, Elena and Rooff-doggie
